I apologize to my dog when I leave

Pet care experience

I've grown up with dogs throughout my entire life. I truly believe they are the best companion a 'man' can have. Dogs have a way of finding people who need them and filling an emptiness that we never even knew we had. If I could rescue all the dogs in the world, and provide them their best life on a little farm, I would. But until then, I will continue to love on all the dogs I can. And just a side note: I am the girl in the car who will chase down a stray dog, and lovingly provide for them (and secretly hope to keep them) until I find their owner -- this act, of reuniting, has to be one of the best feelings in the world.

Information Rachel V. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know its age, limitations, preferences, and owner's privileges (I'm a spoiler). As long as the dog is good and doesn't bite, the breed doesn't matter.

A typical day

I love walking around scenic parts of town, like pathways around a lake or recreational area...but I would let the dogs heart tell me where he really wants to go (if it's safe, of course). The fun activities depend on the dog and what they like...Fetch, dog parks, running around together...you name it!
