I grew up around at least 5 cats and dogs at a time! Mostly big dogs such as German Shepherds and Labradors, but because my father has done obedience training as a side job since I was 2 years old, I have had contact with many different breeds and their personalities. Naturally, my whole family was involved in caring for and training our dogs at different times, from brushing and washing their coats, playing with them outside in our garden and feeding them on schedule, of course only after they sat and waited ;-) I consider myself an animal lover and although I only have a cat now, I always say hello to dogs when I have the opportunity and would care for your dog as if were my own. For overnight sitting, I would like to do that with my husband Tobin who grew up with Cocker Spaniels his whole life and was the main person in charge of walking them daily. He is also a runner, so if your dog is fit or high energy he can provide that service. This would not cost any extra for you, although you would get bonus cuddles and playtime for your dog.
