I’ve taken care of dogs of various breeds and needs. I grew up taking care of animals since I was a young child. Neighbors, family and friends have trusted me to take care of their fur babies when they weren’t home to do so. Nature and nurture comes naturally to me. My husband and I are teaching our children to instill those same qualities in taking care of animals as well as the dog we rescued a few years ago. She’s a Labrador Bordacollie mix. My husband and I enjoy taking the dogs we watch on walks around our neighborhood as well as giving them treats afterwards. I have experience also with giving oral, ophthalmic and topical medications to dogs as well should this be something needed. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works from home some days so our schedule allows us a good amount of time to be home. This flexibility allows for us to cuddle more with our kids and the fur babies that we watch. Someone is almost always home to play, cuddle, take on walks and allow ample amount of potty breaks. I have a wooden fenced in yard with plenty of space for dogs to run around in. During the hot weather we give time for dogs to be outside to use the bathroom with frequent breaks and lots of time indoors. Regular walks are given, usually morning and evening sometimes an afternoon if it’s not too hot. I arrange feeding times that are close to what they may receive at home. During times that I maybe gone or my husband is gone we do prefer crates for your dogs although it’s not a must. We take care of your dog as if it’s our own!
