Pet care experience
I grew up with rottweilers and cats, and LOVE making new furry friends! I worked as a kennel assistant at a pet hospital for 2 years, and was trained on how to medicate. Besides daily walking, feeding and lots of pets, I maintained a fresh environment for the dogs to be clean and safe in while I was away. I've had many neighbors and friends ask me to house sit, and I enjoy it! I typically will bring someone with me the first time I visit a new place.
Reviews
Rachel did a great job! She took good care of my dogs and house. She was very good about staying in communication and sent photos of the dogs, which was very nice. I highly recommend Rachel!
Rachel was great. She sent us pictures throughout the trip and our Wilson looked happy as a clam! Glad we found her!
Definitely the best experience we have ever had with a dog/house sitter. Dogs were happy and well cared for, and house was very clean and neat when we returned. Having Rachel help us really allowed us to enjoy our vacation and not worry about what was going on at home. She was refreshingly responsible and pleasant when compared to our past experiences we have had with other people. We would definitely use Rachel again and wish her nothing but the best in the future. We expect she will go far in life!
Our dogs loved staying with Rachel and her Family. Great in home accommodations and care! I will definitely rebook if she is available on our next trip out of town.

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I allow pets of the home to crate or roam free based on what they are allowed normally allowed during the day when left alone. I also am willing to run with your dog if that is something they like!
Information Rachel T. would like to know about your pet
Information important to know beforehand are things like if your pet has any allergies or medications to take. I like to know any tricks they already know to encourage good behavior, and to know what isn't allowed so they don't develop bad habits. Feeding schedules, if they have one, are important to me, as well as any crating expectations.
A typical day
Usually, I like to exercise by walking, running or throwing a ball with the dog in the morning and/or evening each day. I also like to introduce my dog Lola beforehand, so that your dog can have an additional friend to play with outside during the house sit.
Services
Rachel can watch in your home
Availability
Due to working full time, I've chosen to only house sit currently. This way I can devote time in the morning and evening to take care of your dog and come during lunchtime to let your pup out!
