Pet care experience
I have over 20 years of experience taking care of animals of all kinds and sizes. I grew up with dogs my whole life and have been pet-sitting for other people for about 12 years. I have considerable experience with medicine administration, behavioral challenges, and other unique circumstances. I am looking to get my animal fix and make some extra cash. I prioritize exercise for your pet, and I will always maintain open and frequent communication with you! I want them to feel as comfortable and as loved as possible while you are away. I maintain a very active lifestyle, so a furry companion on a run or walk is perfect for me! As of June 1, I will be living in Logan Circle in DC, but am willing to travel to Metro/Bus accessible areas. Thank you for considering me! I can't wait to meet your pet!

Rachel and Matt were fantastic cat sitters for our two kittens over the holidays. They kept the kittens well fed & entertained, kept the litter and bowls clean & kept us very up to date on the kittens eating, drinking, litter and other habits (in addition to a ton of cute action shots!).
Matt and Rachel kept our two kittens fed & very entertained while we were away! They sent a bunch of great action shots of the kittens playing too :)
Rachel and Matt did a great job taking care of our two kittens for the weekend! One of my kittens was having some tummy issues and they kept me updated on how she was doing. They took lots of cute pictures too!
Thank you so much, Rachel and Matt! I was just organized enough to set up a meet-and-greet and then everything got crazy the week before I left town. They were great communicating and keeping in touch, even when my timing and responses were delayed: lockbox/code, reminders they were set to come, time they were checking in on my cat, and detailed updates. With my cat, they played with him bunches and were even able to get him to eat, while they were there! And a very thoughtful detail, they took care of his litter and took it out of the house - something I neglected to discuss, but very much appreciated. It's a relief to find such great, caring people to take care of my fur-baby and my home.
