I am a dog mom to a 70lb Blue Heeler/ Pit Bull mix so I understand what it's like to have a happy, energetic dog who just needs to be kept busy at all costs. I understand the challenges and rewards of having a bigger dog. I also understand that breed discrimination has no basis in reality. I have dog sat on several different occasions and volunteered at our local shelter. At the shelter, I received dog behavior and dog walking training. During my time at the shelter, I cared for many dogs of all shapes and sizes. I understand that dogs require both physical work and emotional energy in the form of love, patience and kindness.
