Pet care experience
Rachel - pictured on the right, will be answering all messages, speaking below. Shelby - pictured on the left. My family has always had a dog, and as soon as I got out of college, I got one of my own! My roommate, Shelby, also has a dog, so we’re a 2-dog household. I have taken care of neighbors’ animals for the last 10+ years, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish, so I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals of different types and ages.
Reviews

As mentioned above, we have two dogs of our own: a Golden Retriever (Munch, 2 yr old) and an Olde English Bulldogge (Faro, 3 yr old). Both of our dogs are up to date on all vaccines as well as flea/tick/heart worm medications. They are so friendly and always love playing with new dogs! We are flexible with all dog needs - we have experience with several different medications (injection, oral liquid, oral solid, topical, etc), we can crate, we can feed at any time, and we can take potty breaks at any hour. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for anything - we’re happy to answer any questions, plan meet ups to make sure our dogs get along, or visit your house before drop-ins or walks.

Information Rachel & Shelby H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is friendly with other dogs as we have two dogs (if you’re boarding), what medications are needed and how often they’re needed, how often they’re fed and food allergies, any sensitive spots or situations (ears, paws, loud noises, crate needs, etc), and how frequently your dog needs to be let out for potty breaks.
A typical day
We’ve got a great fenced in back yard for constant play needs! We’ve got tugs and balls outside as well as a kiddie pool and a sprinkler for water fun. We have sidewalks in our neighborhood, so we often take walks around the block, at the Clayton Community Park, or on the Neuse River Trail. We also love to play hide and seek inside with our pups!

Availability
We both work from home and have lots of free time. We're always taking our dogs for walks or throwing the ball with them in our fenced-in yard. They brighten our days! We’re a very dog friendly house - we allow dogs on furniture (who doesn’t love a good snuggle buddy?), have plenty of dog toys and treats, and have a crate if needed.
