Your pet’s favorite accountant! 😉
Pet care experience
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. I’m a semi-WFH property accountant with 10+ years of experience caring for (and loving, of course) every type of pup on the planet. I’m an expert at delivering: world class belly rubs, under-the-neck and behind the ear scritches, lengthy cuddle sessions (upon request 😉) and the absolute best company your pet could ever ask for. I have experience caring for pups ranging from 3 weeks to 20 years old (she didn’t look a day over 5), pups who are partially paralyzed and in a wheelchair, tripods (my own baby is a tripod!), deaf/blind, and everything in between. I can express bladders, give bathes, tube feed, give injections/pills, and even provide you with the cutest pictures a sitter has ever sent you- guaranteed! I have a very open schedule for most of June 2023, so I hope to hear from you soon and I look forward to meeting you and your fur kiddos! PS: please forgive me if I haven’t updated the above dates - I’m not the best with updating this app, but I’ll still 100% get your message and get back to you asap! :)

Rachel has been a wonderful dog sitter to my two dogs (one is 11 weeks and the other 7 years). Highly recommend her services! I know I'll be booking her again soon.
Rachel was flexible, communicative and took great care of my two dogs. I’d highly recommend her services to anyone. I hope she’ll be able to sit for us again sometime soon. Thank you, Rachel!
Rachel was flexible, communicative and really great while watching our cat and dog. Would definitely use her again!
Rachel was amazing! She stayed with my cat for a couple of nights and was so communicative and friendly. My house was super clean when I got home and my cat was very happy :)

I’m a lover of both play and cuddles, so it’s safe to say your furry friend will receive lots of both :) Being that I work from home, I can provide the most personalized care to make sure they don’t miss you too much while you’re gone. I do the best I can to keep them on the schedule that they're used to being on, so the care I give is ultimately dependent on what they’re used to! As mentioned earlier, I completely understand how scary it can be to have a stranger staying in your home and/or having your pet stay with a stranger, so I’m more than happy to do daily check-ins with you throughout our stay! FYI- I have lots of experience caring for senior/special needs dogs. Some of the unique skills I have are: -Administering medication orally and/or injections -Expressing bladders -Caring for pups with paralysis/get around using wheels -Using diapers -Caring for amputees (my dog is one of them!)

Information Rachel S. would like to know about your pet
No strong breed preferences but I love and welcome any and all pit bulls! I’m pretty active and workout regularly, so I can handle walking even the strongest of dogs. I’m more than happy to house sit for dogs of any size, however, since I recently moved into a smaller apartment, I’d prefer smaller dogs (under 35lbs) for boarding.
A typical day
A few of my favorites include: a trip to the Lafayette dog park, Ocean Beach, adventures in Golden Gate Park, checking out all the new smells in the city (I’m a VERY patient walker…sometimes to a fault), sunbathing, cuddles on the couch, a (leashed) trip to Dolores park, etc. For the kiddos with lots of energy, I love taking them for hikes in the Interior Greenbelt or up to Grand View Park!

I have a flexible job that allows me to work remotely several days a week, so as long as you have functional Wi-Fi, housesitting is a feasible side-gig for me. Some of my “regulars” love cuddling up next to me as I sit on the couch and crunch numbers, so I imagine yours will as well!
