I’ve been around dogs since I was born. I grew up with a Rottweiler, then we had a German Shepard and now we have a Hound. I’ve gotten to be lucky enough to learn how to take care of dogs my entire life by growing up with them in the family. I have also been trusted by friends and family to watch their dogs for the weekend or take them for walks. My sister fosters dogs in her free time which means I also get to help take care of the fosters when needed. My only difficulty is saying goodbye to the dogs but it just makes me more excited to say hello to the next!

Rachel is a great care-taker for four legged friends! She's responsible when walking and tending to (feeding, bathing, playing with) the animals. She is respectful of any necessary boundaries and understands their communication. My dog, Desi, can be difficult to handle on leash and Rachel does an excellent job with him.
Rachel is very punctual. Our dog knows she is coming and will look out the window for her. Then he does his happy dance. My dog is shy and he warmed up to her right away. Rachel S is the best dog walker we’ve had.

Availability
I am working part time as a dog walker. I work as a speech therapist for Chicago Public Schools so during the summer I am available during the day to take your dog on a walk. During the school year I’ll be available during the weekend.
