Pet care experience
Growing up, I was surround fur friends and wagging tails. My first job was at a veterinary office when I was 16 and I loved it! Animals have always had a special place in my heart. I spoil my own, and will spoil yours too! My genuine love for pets ensures that I will provide them with the care and attention they deserve. I have watched dogs and cats for friends and family on many occasions, hosted birthday puppy parties, and have walked, hiked groomed, and administered medicine for other pets as well ask my own. I understand the importance of reliability and punctuality and take my commitments seriously. I always maintain open and clear lines of communication, and will provide regular updates. I will attentively listen to any concerns or special instructions, and make sure your pet is well loved.
Reviews
I booked Rachel at the last minute due to an unexpected emergency with my regular sitter, she a great help and even took care of a neighborhood dog on her way out! Lifesaver.
Rachel is amazing! Our pup Toby absolutely loves going for his walks! Rachel is a great communicator and I really trust her with Toby. A neighbor texted me this week and said Toby looks so happy when he’s walking with Rachel. 10/10 would recommend.
Rachel is amazing with Nora. She's extremely attentive to Nora's body language and makes her feel at ease. I think Nora has acceptedher as part of our pack. She remembers all the important details about Nora's care. I feel completely at ease knowing Rachel will be taking care of Nora while I take on a challenging new work schedule.
Rachel was great & extremely accommodating. She had open communication, in which I truly appreciated.

Your house is your pet’s safe place. Any special instructions will be honored. Walks won’t just be walks, I’ll make sure to give your pet(s) plenty of attention and affection before I leave! Let me know how your dog likes to play. If they don’t like playing with toys, we can run around and play hide and seek, get down with tummy rubs, or play fetch with the tried and true stick.
Information Rachel S. would like to know about your pet
I have watched and played with many breeds, small and big, and can adjust interactions accordingly. Before we meet I would love to know if: -Your pet has any medical issues, behavioral quirks, or allergies I should be aware of - There are any activities to avoid -There are any activities you would like incorporated during my visit -Your dog may need a little space from other dogs on walks. -Your dog believes squirrels and/birds are the coolest things ever and wants to forcefully befriend them
A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation are important for any pet. Playing with toys, playing hide and seek, throwing the ball, hiding treats for dogs to sniff out are some of the ways I interact with my pets, and can, with your permission, interact with your pets as well.
