Pet care experience
My parents got a dog when I was 9 that I have helped care for. I have taken care of neighbors' and friends' dogs throughout high school and college. One year ago I adopted my own rescue named Ollie when he was 6 years old. He has a lot of anxiety and some behavior problems, but with consistent training and care, he is like a completely different dog! I work especially well with anxious dogs and I'm willing to go out of my way to provide an environment where a pup can feel safe and calm.

Consistency and rules are very important with mine, so I understand how much of a help that can be. I am absolutely willing to work with dogs that have some behavioral issues, but I am NOT a licensed trainer. Please let me know ahead of time about anything your dog needs extra help with so I can be prepared :)

It is also helpful to know about any unique behaviors or traits your dog may have, whether that's something they dislike or their favorite way to play, so I can make them comfortable. Also feel free to let me know about any ongoing training so I can keep things consistent for your pup!
A typical day
I love to spend time outside with dogs! Especially if you have a backyard and your dog loves to play fetch or run around, I'm happy to get active and run around with them! I love going to nearby parks or nature areas on walks to provide an enriching experience.

I'm currently job-hunting, so I have fairly open availability. What better way to earn some extra cash than by getting some exercise and hanging out with dogs! Once I start work, I will update my availability, but in the meantime, I'm happy to pop in during odd hours. :)
