I am animal obsessed and have had dogs (and cats) my whole life, at one point we had more dogs than people in our house growing up, so I have gained a wealth of experience! I grew up on a farm in the outskirts of Glasgow and have a deep appreciation for animals and know that they are a part of the family. You can be rest assured I will look after your pets like they are my own! I currently have 1 male, very playful and friendly (unneutered) Irish red setter and two ragdoll cats (it will be easy enough for me to separate the cats and even dogs into another part of the house if necessary).

I have an enclosed garden for regular toilet breaks and will be able to take dogs for an hour long walk before I start work and/or during my lunch break in the afternoon. Dogs are guaranteed lots of cuddles (if they enjoy cuddles), space to roam and play time with my dog as well! I can ensure they will be getting the best care possible as I a massive animal lover and get so much joy from happy pets!

A typical day
A typical day starts off with a nice long walk before I start work with a variety of routes to choose from. Thankfully there are many beautiful walks right on my doorstep which I am very fortunate to have and my dog Rodney is also very grateful for I’m sure! I am very experienced with all types of dogs and am comfortable with on and off lead walking. I dedicate time during the walk for play, more specifically with my dog’s favourite toy - his ball! Then after breakfast it’s nap time in preparation for our lunch time adventure, which typically lasts for an hour. There is opportunity for play time in the garden and in summer months an evening walk as well.

Availability
I currently work from home everyday apart from a Monday and so will be available from Tuesdays-Sundays. I will be spending time with your dog all day and they will not be left to sit alone for extended periods of time. I also have enough space in which your dog can have some alone time to relax in peace if they need it. Additionally, I can do daytime care or overnights.
