Dogs are, and always have been, my life! I grew up with them and made a career in the veterinary field because of them. I love pet sitting and taking care of them simply because I love being around them. I will treat your dog as if he or she were my own (AKA the most important dogs in the world). Dogs absolutely live the good life at my house and I wouldn't have it any other way. There's plenty of snuggles, walks, play times, naps, potty breaks and tasty treats to go around! And as a veterinary professional, I will be sure that your kiddos receive topnotch care in my hands. For boarding, I will ask to have met your pet first (maybe a home visit or walk). I require that your pup be non-dog-aggressive as I have my own and may be hosting others, and I cannot accept any unspayed females (after the age of 5 months) for boarding. If I'm coming over to your place for a visit, we will make the most of our time doing whatever your dog loves: a game of fetch, scratches behind the ears, snuggles or just hanging out and enjoying each other's company. Same for walks: whatever your pup likes. I can do a nice slow stroll around the block or (if given advanced notice so I come properly attired) we can jog/run a few miles that day! As a Certified Veterinary professional, I am more than happy to take on older or special needs kiddos (in fact, they're some of my favorites). I'm proficient in administering medications via all routes (injections, oral, etc) and I pay close attention to detail. My goal is to have both you and your pup happy and satisfied with my service! *please note my services will be unavailable at the end of June and beginning of July as I will be out of town*
