Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover all my life and a dog mom for the past 12 years. I fostered dogs including puppies as young as 1 week old during the pandemic and I believe dogs need as much love, care and attention as us! I have a 4 year old medium sized dog who loves other pups but mostly just wants to snuggle on the sofa. Dogs are allowed to sleep on the bed with me unless their parents are against that. I have a fully fenced front and backyard and go on at least 1-2 walks a day for a minimum of 30 min each. Sometimes we go to the park and walk around the lake as well! I’ll always make sure they also have fresh water when out and will check with you before any treats are given. If I didn’t travel so much I would probably have a dozen pups so this way I can love in them in between!

Rachel was awesome— so friendly, flexible for drop off and pick up times as my travel plans shifted, responded to messages quickly, and shared pics and videos of my lil guy every day. Her pups are also adorable and sweet and got along well with mine. I also really appreciated the intentional meet and greet well before hand. Definitely will be taking Chuck to stay at hers again!

Rachel has been an asset for my family in being able to travel for work and for pleasure knowing Mosby - an adult male boxer - is not only being taken care of, but truly spoiled. She has a dog friendly home where he can cozy up on the couch, lay on the area rugs, explore baskets of indoor and outdoor toys plus a fully fenced in front and backyard. Mosby has become friends with her dog Smalls and they are able to relax/play out in the sun and enjoy neighborhood walks. When we pull up to her house for a drop off, Mosby recognizes it and gets so excited. It makes leaving him so much easier knowing he's hype to be there. She's someone that I trust fully with him and know that she cares for him in the same way she cares for her own dog.
I would trust Rachel with my life and therefore my dog Pepper! She cares so much about pup routines, happiness and safety! Our dog adores Rachel!

My 4 yr old BoJack Smalls loves other dogs and is happy to play for a bit in the yard but also loves the peace and quiet of good snuggle time on the sofa. I have always been an animal lover and have built my life around my dogs. I have had to take my dogs to sitters before and I know how anxiety-inducing it can be! I promise I’ll take care of your baby like my own!

I am happy to accommodate special needs within my wheelhouse! I fostered dogs for a long time and many had special needs but I will tell you whether me not I am equipped to handle them or not! Please tell me as much as you can about your dogs preferences, personality and quirks so I can accommodate them and make them feel right at home!
A typical day
I think dogs need much more stimulation than most of us know! I love to do twice daily walks with the pups or if your dog prefers throwing a ball in the backyard or hiking through the woods, snuffle mats or treat balls, I can do all of that! In the summer I like to set up a kiddie pool for them to splash around in and keep cool whenever we are outside!

I work from home with an incredibly flexible schedule. I do travel often so my availability may not be 365 days a year but when I am home I am fully present!
