Pet care experience
When it comes to pets/ dogs in particular, I view them as babies/ children that need the same amount of care, if not more. Before getting my dog that I currently have, I conducted loads of research on how to train him, how often I should take him on walks- everything to do with how I can take care of him in the best way. I would say that I have quite a lot of information on how to care for dogs because I own a high maintenance, high energy Labrador that loves to eat everything in sight and because before getting him, I surrounded myself with research and youtube videos so that he could live the best life he could. Having my own little pup has made me realise how much care and love needs to be given to them because they only live a short life and it needs to be lived in the best possible way.
Reviews
Rachel has looked after my rather elderly dog - Rosie - on several times and has treated her like her own pet. Rachel is super responsive and very flexible.
Thank you so much Rachel! It was our first time leaving Juno and from the moment Rachel knocked on the door Juno was so excited to meet her. She definitely has a new best friend. Rachel gave us updates throughout the day which was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
I have booked with Rachel a few times and she has been fantastic. Highly recommend
Rachel was absolutely amazing! Our dog loved her instantly. She clearly loves dogs and their wellbeing. She sent us updates, and was communicative throughout the process. We will definitely use her again!

For dog sitting in another home, if the place doesn’t have a garden, I can take the dog out to the park or on frequent walks and create enrichment activities so that they are doing something fun and entertaining (this can range from lick mats to snuffle mats to puzzles).
Information Rachel R. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has any behavioural problems or doesn’t like other interaction with dogs, it would be very useful to know ahead of time so that the dog’s comfortable. I would also like to know if there was any training I can reinforce.
A typical day
I think that the least dogs deserve are walks because they deserve a good quality of life and this is one of the main things that can better a dog’s quality of life. It’s their way of learning interacting with the world. I can take them on walks and go to the park to play fun activities such as fetch or simply go on runs with them.

I’m currently completing a level 3 course in childcare and education at college that takes up quite a lot of my days in the week. I was looking for a job that would be flexible in hours so that I can complete my work whilst also earning some extra money. I’ve had some experience in retail, hospitality (working as a waitress and a main receptionist at a restaurant) and experience in a day care nursery and being a babysitter.
