Pet care experience
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to surround myself with animals. I offer boarding for dogs in my own home and our dogs love having company or I can travel to your home if that is where your pet feels most comfortable! When I stay at other peoples' homes, our pups stay home so I can help care for pets that aren't comfortable being around other dogs. I have been dog walking and pet-sitting for 15+ years and have 5 years’ experience as a vet tech. I started walking dogs for the neighborhood and just fell in love with being around them and learning new training techniques. I have the know-how and physical ability to handle any animal of any size. With my experience as an owner of german shepherds and through my work, I’ve picked up on dog body language and learned animal behavior. If you happen to have a shy or fearful pup, I’d love to meet them and help them feel safe while you are gone. I love earning their trust and watching as they slowly welcome me into their space. As a vet tech, I have the medical knowledge and experience to take care of puppies through seniors and administering any medications they might need. Even if your pet is recovering from an illness, surgery, or something minor, I will be able to step right in and continue care if you need to travel. I am always looking for new adventures to go on with my own pups and they love making new friends. Having pets who are like family myself, I know how hard it can be to have someone watch them while you’re gone. I’ll be sure to give them just as much love and snuggles and send you lots of pictures and updates while you’re gone. ☺️ I am a stay at home mom so I have lots of time for snuggles, walks, and just hanging out. I can accommodate any walk or medication schedule your pets may need. When boarding from our house, I have two pups that love playing with other dogs and two cats are amazing at being around dogs even if they haven't seen cats before. I have a fenced-in yard that has plenty of room for exercise and we have the mountains to sea trail in walking distance from our home. We love to take walks out in the woods for some nature and fresh air!

Rachel is excellent! She house sat for us over the weekend and took great care of our babies. One of our cats has Urinary tract disease and her experience as a vet tech was invaluable for making sure our little man was doing ok while we were away. 10/10 would have her cat sit again
Rachel was absolutely wonderful! She was a lifesaver when my dog sitter needed to cancel at the last minute on Christmas Eve. Rachel’s communication was reassuring and lovely, she sent tons of photos, and cleaned up perfectly. And of course, the essential part: Ziggy adored her and was happy. Rachel was very trustworthy when she watched both of my dogs .She is also very knowledgeabl e and will keep u dogs safe.
Rachel did an amazing job with my three cats. Attentive, excellent communicator, and reliable. I didn’t worry at all while I was gone for a week. The daily pics of them was a nice touch that reinforced my sense of security. Would hire her again, no question.

A typical day
We love going for walks! It’s such a good activity for dogs physically and mentally. It really helps them explore their world so they feel fulfilled and settled. We particularly love going out on trails but happy to take pups in their own neighborhood as well, wherever they feel most comfortable! A good game of tug of war is also always welcome. ☺️
