Pet care experience
Currently offering drop-in visits during early mornings and weekends only as I have started a full-time career! :) I've taken care of pets all my life, and currently am the proud mama of two wonderful kitties. I have past experience working in dog training facilities, boarding kennels/daycares, and veterinary environments. Some of my particular skills are that I am practiced with dog behavior and positive reinforcement training, comfortable with feeding raw diets (my cats are raw fed), and I have experience administering a wide variety of medications to cats and dogs. All pets have their own unique personalities, and I am committed to providing every pet the best possible care! Also of note - I recently ended a 7-year career as a nanny, so I have a lot of experience caring for the homes and pets of multiple families.

Kaia and I just love Rachel! This morning I noted Kaia woke up and went to sit by the front door looking excited at about the time she was expecting Rachel to show up to to play with her! She was practically bouncing off the walls running back-and-forth around the front door area so excited! OMG, after just a few short days, she remembers her new good friend! Clearly, in Just, those few days, I can see Kaia being very shy, was very comfortable with Rachel. After meeting her in person, I immediately trusted her! I’m so glad I found her on Rover!
Rachel does a great job with Shady cat. She sends great pictures and is very responsive.

I have experience managing multiple pets at once, feeding a variety of diets, and giving a variety of medications. I am the type of person to always leave detailed instructions for any sitter that cares for my cats, so you can be sure that I will also be respectful of any request you have.

A typical day
With dogs, I am happy to walk/run/exercise with them outside or inside, while loving on them of course! With cats, I love to play toys with them, give lots of pets, or give belly rubs (if they like those!).
