Rachel is AMAZING! Our little guy, Nigel spent 9 days with her & her furbabies during our anniversary trip to Mexico. This was our longest trip away from him, but Rachel sent us daily pics & videos. Nigel made himself right at home & had such a great time playing with his newfound friends. I can't recommend her highly enough.
My husband and I had a ski trip planned and needed a sitter for our dog Winston. We've used very nice kennels before but we really wanted a more homey atmosphere with a lot of individual attention. We found that and more with Rachel (Rover.com). She had the perfect home arrangement for Winstin to be comfortable and part of her family. Rachel emailed us pictures and updates of Winston daily. She even made a special ...
Rachel has taken excellent care of our dogs several times. we will always use her when we are away and feel confident our dogs are loved and cared for. Rachel is a real animal person and it shows and she is someone you can trust in your home. we have given her the key to our house. we have had other sitters and she is by far the best one.
LOVE 24/7 - FENCED YARD TO PLAY IN
Your furbaby/furbabies' stay is the equivalent of choosing a nanny and/or a family home daycare center for a human child, where the number of dogs in the home is restricted to 2 resident dogs and a maximum of 2 guest dogs (from the same family or different families) in order to guarantee individualized care and dedicated attention for each and every resident dog and guest dog staying in the home.
At times, there may be ...
What Rachel would like to know about your dog
-Guest dogs should not be capable of jumping over a 24" fence (the fence in the front yard is approximately 48" high; the fence in the side yard and backyard are between 48" and 72" high) - even though resident dogs and guest dogs would NEVER be left outside unsupervised.
-Guest dogs should have no history of biting another dog or a human.
-Guest dogs should be on preventative medication prescribed by your vet in order to protect your furbaby against fleas, ticks, and other parasites like heartworms, roundworms, and hookworms.
-Guest dogs should have proof from their vet that the following vaccinations are up-to-date (documentation must be provided prior to daycare or boarding)
*DHLPP (Distemper Combo)
*Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
-Guest dogs are REQUIRED to wear a collar containing an identification tag (with their name and microchip number, along with the address and the phone number of the pet parent - microchipping is highly recommended), their current rabies tag, and their current yearly or lifetime dog license tag. In addition to the collar, which will be worn at all times, a leash and harness must be worn/brought for activities that take place outside of the home for recreation or emergencies - nonresident dogs must be connected to the leash in at least two places for safety and security during excursions outside of the fenced in property.
