Pet care experience
I grew up with up to 21 animals at a time -- everything from dogs to cats to turtles to ducks. I have a deep-seated love of animals that defines my experience as a pet sitter. I've also been working as a dog walker and sitter for more than six years with Wag! I'm reliable and observant, quick to respond to each pet's unique wants and needs. Rachel did an amazing job of taking care of our dog Wally. Great communication and we really appreciated the updates and photos. And most importantly - she clearly took great care of Wally. From both the photos and Wally's reaction to leaving her, he had a great time and was very comfortable with her! Would certainly recommend her and planning to book her again.

I contacted Rachel at the last minute because my previous plans fell through. I was nervous to leave my baby with someone I have never met, at the last minute for a whole week. But Rachel is awesome as soon as I met her I knew my Sir Winston would be taken care of. All my worries went away because Rachel's bright personality and pure heart was so welcoming. I have a small apartment with no balcony, so there's no risk that your pet could escape or get out. My building has several fenced in pet areas, so your pet will be able to socialize as you're comfortable with.

I have a small cat named Cinnamon who lives with me. I'm able to separate her from any pets I sit, but she's comfortable with dogs (even loves playing with them!). Therefore, I can only sit dogs that are comfortable around cats.
A typical day
I live in Adams Morgan, an incredibly dog friendly community with loads of nearby parks! I particularly like walking with dogs up rock creek trail, even meandering past the zoo.
