My family has always had dog while I was growing up, and spending time outside with them and caring for them has always been a source of joy that helped me to become a responsible and loving young adult. I learned to be patient with my dog Snickers, a Golden Retriever who we found at the Humane Society. He had suffered previous abuse, which made him shy and afraid of new people; but Snickers and I formed a very quick and powerful bound and he is now more brave and happy than ever before. I learned to be energetic with my dog Twix, who came to us as a puppy full of energy, love and life. I understand the importance of following specified food and watering directions for each pup, I am capable of walking multiple large dogs at once, and I am patient and understanding with scared or young dogs.
