Pet care experience
I have worked with companion animals of all types for over five years. I worked as a veterinary assistant for four years, worked at an animal shelter, and pet sat for a variety of different companion animals. I have a lot of knowledge about animal behavior and animal welfare/ health. I am able to medicate and give injections to dogs and cats of all ages. I have experience with positive reinforcement clicker training for dogs and cats. I love all animals of all ages and will ensure that they are treated as if they were my own pet.

Rachel did a wonderful job taking care of my 4-month-old kitten Sokka while my boyfriend and I were out of town! I was a worried cat mom anxious about leaving our kitten behind for the first time, but Rachel is so knowledgeable and caring for pets that she made all my worries go away! She sent me photos and kept me updated on how he was doing each time she checked in on him throughout the weekend we were gone. She was probably at our house for at least 30 mins to an hour each time she visited, so Sokka was well-loved and care for while I was gone.
Rachel recently watched my little Quigley and she did a great job! She sent me updates throughout the day and he seemed to enjoy his time with Rachel. Every time he sees her he always runs right to her and I think that is a sign that she is an excellent person. I highly recommend her!!
Rachel was a pet sitter for our three dogs for five years. She is reliable and great at taking care of our dogs. She goes above and beyond to make sure they go on daily walks and adventures.

You can expect that you dog will go on a walk full of adventure and new smells. If dog friendly, I can also take to the dog park.

Availability
I am available early morning, evenings, and mid day for an hour. Personally, I walk my own dog before and after work for at least 45 minutes. I can be flexible with my schedule.
