Hi! People always say to me, “Rachel, your dog is not your child. Stop treating him like one”. And to that I say, ...Not really but you get the point ;) I treat all pets with love and kindness because like people, that’s what they deserve. I’ve grown up with dogs and other pets all my life and for the last five years I’ve had the honor of calling my bulldog Patrick, My best friend. If you know anything about bulldogs, they are very high maintenance with their physical/medical health needs. I consider myself to be a very attentive and responsible bulldog owner and take my job as a bulldog parent very seriously. I would do the same with your dog/pet. My full-time job is in the mental health field where I’ve seen how animals truly are therapeutic beings by nature.
