Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Rachel and though I am new to Rover, I am not new to the pet sitting experience. I have been pet sitting on and off since I was 14 years old and since then I have gone through 2 different training classes with my dogs and have also helped in training friends and family's puppies. I currently have my Border Collie rescue, who is the most well behaved and polite girl you'll ever meet and I also take care of a spunky little Poodle for an elderly couple. I look forward to meeting both you and your well-loved pet!!! I have experience in senior dog care, puppy care and disabled dog/cat care.

I have a medium sized fenced-in yard with an accessible deck that my sweet dog Annie loves to have the zoomies in. I double secure leashes on all walks, as your pets safety is my biggest concern. If your pet is wary of other dogs, I can accommodate to that as well. I live in a very safe area where there are no shortage of paved sidewalks and fenced in parks to play in! When I am at your home taking care of your pet, I will ask beforehand about the activities that your pet will enjoy the most. The more details about what you would like your pets experience to be, the better! If you have multiple pets who are needing my services, I can offer a discounted price! We can most definitely find some middle ground that works for everyone :)

Please let me know in advance of any important facts that I would need to know about your pet. Do they like other dogs? Do they have any physical disabilities? Are they wary of men or women? Are they fearful of children? Do they have any bad temperaments such as food aggression? I am very open to almost all types of dog, and any of these behaviors will be workable depending on whether I am watching your pet at my household or mine.
A typical day
My main goal to your dogs time with me will be whatever you would like it to be! I would love to explore my neighborhood park, play all of your pets favorite games, and have a blast of physical activity! If your dog is the more laid back type where they like to lounge around and have all the attention and pets, then I will happily do that as well! I believe each dog is its own individual and has its own unique needs, and I am more than happy to hear and learn all about them. Again, your pets experience with me will be whatever you would like it to be.

I am currently working as a in-home care CNA overnights, so I have all day open to taking care of your pet! I work from Monday-Thursday night, so I am available to do overnight boarding on the weekends.
