I have had pets all my life and couldn’t imagine not having any. The amount of dog accounts I follow on insta is getting out of control but I’m completely okay with that. I currently have a Husky mix of my own named Ava who just recently turned 1 year old. She’s a Husky, Malamute, German Shepherd, Chow Chow mix a.k.a. a whole lot of fur and endless energy. I knew when I got her what would be in store for me based on her breeds but knew I’d be able to handle her because of my lifelong experience of being around animals and dogs of all breeds. Having a dog park at my apartment is extremely convenient and always easily accessible. It’s a great place where other dog owners in the building come to have their dogs play together. I have zero tolerance for animal cruelty and will always ensure your pet is treated with the utmost respect and care they deserve. Ava was the victim of animal cruelty at a boarding place once, I was watching the cameras they had set up in the yard and witnessed a worker kneeing her head into a wall. I immediately too a stand leading to the a video I posted on FB going viral resulting in the arrest of the worker. I wanted to make sure no other dogs would ever be treated that way again at the place and worked the owner to have them establish knew employee training programs and screening procedures. I have learned many tips and tricks on how to train dogs and can apply them to dogs I am lucky to meet from Rover when needed. I am honestly surprised there isn’t an app yet where the people actually pay the owners to be able to play with their dogs.
