Pet care experience
I’ve cared for small family dogs and cats since I was a kid. I love bringing my parents dog over for sleepovers, walks, hikes, car rides, and couch cuddles when they are away. My husband, Joel helps out too and has lots of experience with with small, medium, and large breed dogs. I work full time as a teacher during the week. I would be available for boarding during weekends and holidays. Fridays after 5:30, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 9:00 pm. My townhouse shares a wall with two very friendly golden retrievers. My fenced in backyard, big glass doors and windows, and front balcony all make my home very exciting for dogs. I live near 3 great parks and even a dog-friendly hiking trail. Please let me know what snacks/treats your dog likes so I can be sure to have lots of those on hand! :)

Rachel was perfect! I had a last minute falling out with another sitter and she let my Aussie and I come over same-night for a meet and greet. Her house was comfortable and safe. While my pup was with her, she sent the perfect amount of updates and gave him lots of walks and exercise! We will be back again soon!
Could not have loved our stay with Rachel more!! My dog had a great time, got great exercise and stimulation, and Rachel kept me posted with the cutest pics while I was traveling. I was so hesitant to leave my dog at someone's home who I didn't know, but this experience was wonderful and it is such a game changer to have a safe place for my pet when I need to travel. Would rebook for sure!
Rachel was great with communicating with me throughout the process and while watching my pups. I loved the photos she sent and my boys were quite happy and well cared for.

I care for your pet like I would my own. I provide plenty of supervision and know what to put away while dogs are left alone. I have a baby gate, fenced in backyard, and never leave dogs longer than a couple hours.

Please let me know about your dog’s personality! Energy levels, activity preferences, likes/dislikes, any fears? How is their interest in food? Any health problems, medications, allergies, food restrictions?? Let me know their feeding schedule, sleep schedule, bathroom routine (and ways they communicate they need to “go”).
A typical day
Daily walks are a must! I have a great neighborhood to walk in with plenty of fun parks nearby. There is a caged in ball field I love to let them run free and play fetch in. Send me their favorite toys too so Joel and I can play with them. :)

Available after 5:30 on Fridays! After teaching all week, I look forward to weekend walks, hikes, or cuddles on the couch with a furry friend! I love to have company while completing my tasks around the house or a buddy for running quick errands with!
