Pet care experience
As a former mail carrier with previous dog walking and sitting experience, I have no problem walking in any kind of weather. I have an eighty pound golden retriever lab mix at home who I love taking for walks. My first job as a kid was walking dogs in my neighborhood, and it has been a dream of mine to do this as an adult. I also have some recent experience watching my friend's dogs, one of whom was elderly and no longer had the use of her hind legs. I am a very conscientious person and your dog's health and safety are my main focus. If you hire me, I promise I will do everything I need to do to make sure your pup is comfortable, safe, and happy. I am looking to service Peabody and its surrounding areas.

Rachel was great! We were grateful that Rachel was available to watch our boy last minute. Rachel was able to keep up with our energetic boy and kept us updated throughout the process which was great since it was our first time using Rover. Our apartment has a complicated Latch system that I was worried would be a curveball for Rachel but she was able to figure it out and get to our boy. Rachel asked great questions about the care for our boy, which put my mind at ease. Thanks to Rachel I will be using Rover again and would love for Rachel to care for our boy again!
Rachel has done a fantastic job caring for and walking my dog Kado. Kado immediately warmed up to her kind and genuine demeanor. She is prompt, reliable and trustworthy. Also, she leaves detailed descriptions of the walks. I appreciate having Rachel as my dog walker and highly recommended her for any dog related services.

The sitting jobs that I have had so far are going back and forth to the client's house three times a day to feed and walk the dogs, and give them some love. Depending on individual circumstances, I will stay overnight if both myself and the client are comfortable with that arrangement.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs and whether or not certain things bother them. It's always helpful to know what may upset them so that I am prepared and can be mindful of various triggers, such as other dogs, children, etc.
A typical day
Other than walking the dogs, if there is enough time, I love playing fetch with them in the yard and some dogs just like when I run around with them.

Currently, dog walking and sitting is my main job. In the fall, I will be taking a couple college classes, but will still be able to fit some dogs into my schedule.
