Pet care experience
Growing up in a home that constantly had pets, it was easy to see my love for animals early. I have volunteered at animal shelters as a dog walker, socializer, and trainer for 7 years. Studying veterinary medicine and working in a veterinary clinic in college gave me even more experience with animals - including more difficult ones. My friends joke that I forget people's names but always remember the name of their dog. While I ultimately pursued a career outside of veterinary medicine, I still love being involved with animal care and welfare. I now volunteer with dogs regularly in LA and am lucky to have a flexible career that gives me time to take care of your amazing pets too! I’d love to know more about their personalities and preferences to provide the very best care.

Rachel was great! During the meet and greet, Immy loved her! She sent pictures each day and gave me updates. She also had no problem giving Immy her meds each day. Overall zero complaints, we will definitely use her again.
Rachel is amazing. We were so worried about leaving our dog with a stranger but she was beyond trustworthy. She sent us updates and even was amazing dealing with our puppy Samoyed that pulls aggressively around other dogs. I would recommend her to to anyone looking for a dog sitter! Honestly Rachel was a pro!
I would recommend Rachel to anyone for the care of their Dog, Cat, Rabbit or any living creature. I have never come across a more loving and caring individual that will put her/his needs after that of the animal. She will pamper, love, and spoil any and every creature she looks after. If the opportunity for training a dog comes along, she will do so and incorporate play time into that training to engage the dog for behavioral improvement. Rachel helped turned my rescue dog from a handful into a loving and caring member of our family. I have nothing but praise for her as a dog lover (more than a caregiver).

I live in quiet Brentwood and love taking dogs around the neighborhood. If you provide your dog's favorite toys, I'm more than happy to host play sessions. I'm also a runner and love to run with dogs that are accustomed to this form of exercise.
