**Now also offering dog walking** In my previous city I was the go-to "cat lady" cat sitter for friends, colleagues, and affiliates. I'm extremely reliable and prioritize safety, comfort, and communication between clients and always make sure that their pets are safe and happy. I used to cat-sit regularly in my previous city and I had a solid base of steady clients. I'm now looking to build that network back up in the Cape Cod area.

To offer the best service, I first make sure there is 100% clarity between myself and the client regarding expectations. I encourage and welcome written directions if the client wishes to provide them. I always stay in contact and can provide as many updates as requested. I am happy to send photos/videos to clients of their pets while I'm watching them, just to give the owners a greater sense of ease while they're away from their pets. I know it can be stressful to leave them at home, so I provide the care and communication that I would want to receive if I left my own pet under someone else's care.

It is important to know a pet's general temperament, their usual comfort and approachability with new people, their friendliness and their boundaries, along with all of the general information (food amounts/types and feeding schedule, playtime preferences (favorite toy, etc.), and anything else that would help your pet feel most at ease.
A typical day
When I visit, I will first be sure to approach your pet gently and let them get acquainted with me in their space. I always respect boundaries of animals and know that many can be anxious and cautious, so I will be sure to cater each visit to however you and your pet prefer. If they are feeling playful, I will spend time playing with them to keep them active and engaged. I always be sure to double-check everything (food levels, clean water, litter box cleanliness, any potential hazards, and overall home security) upon my arrival/departure.

I work remotely, so I can take breaks from the day to accommodate various pet-sitting schedules. I also have a car so I'm not dependent on any public transit.
