Pet care experience
I have been taking care of my own animals and loving them for years! I’ve housesat for many families too while taking care of a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, a bunny, a turtle, and Guinea pigs! I’ve also helped in a local veterinarian office with my stepmom and have gained a lot of experience working especially with dogs! I have 2 dogs of my own at the moment and a cute cat too and they’re super sweet and friendly! I also love being active so I enjoy going on walks or playing with dogs of all energy levels!

Rachel is amazing! I can't say enough good things. I was nervous to hire anyone other than friends or family to watch our pups. A friend recommended Rover so we gave it a shot and I'm so happy we did! Rachel immediately made me feel at ease and my pups warmed up to her instantly. She sent us pictures and updates all the time. I knew my babies were being well cared for and I never had to worry. She's professional, kind and fun and we will definitely be repeat clients!

I am completely aware that each pet responds differently to me and I take the cautious approach to each animal that I work with! I want pets to be comfortable with me, so I give time for the animals I check in on to warm up to me. But I love the cuddle bugs too!

I like to know if the dog/cat is comfortable with other people and if there's anything I need to watch out for. This includes if the pup doesn't get along with other dogs on walks, if they try to run out the door, and just in general what the dog likes! (:
A typical day
I take dogs on walks around the areas that the home is in. If there is a fenced in area, I'll play fetch with pups for a while. I like playing tug-of-war and helping dogs get out their zoomies.

Availability
I'm currently in graduate school so I'm in classes throughout the week or occasionally working with clients. I have reduced availability, but if my schedule is open when I'm needed, I'd be more than glad to help out.
