Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong lover of pets. (My first word was "kitty!") I've cared for my own pets and volunteered with shelters since I was old enough to do so. I believe in humane and empathetic communication with animals, and that mental enrichment is a vital part of a pet's holistic well being.
Reviews
Rachel was an amazing cat sitter for my lovely sweet cat sunshine. She sent me pictures was right on time and took great care of her while I was gone. I highly recommend her
Rachel goes above and beyond to be accommodating and she did a great job watching my babies.

Drop-ins/Walks: To every visit, I bring a first aid kit, a rotating cast of toys, and enrichment activities. I tailor each service to the needs of the individual. Some pets need vigorous play and brain games, while others are interested in a bathroom break followed by 20 minutes of snuggles. On walks, if the high is 80°F or above, I use the "seven second test" to make sure the pavement isn't too hot for puppy paws. My first career was in healthcare and I am certified in pet first aid and CPR through The Pet Health Academy. I am not offering boarding at this time.
Information Rachel L. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any specific needs- medical or behavioral. I'm happy for any information that will help me give your pet the care they deserve.
A typical day
All activities will be entirely geared towards your pet’s needs and personality. I love providing enrichment activities. Active, energetic pets can expect play, nose work, and maybe a new trick or two! I’m happy to offer snuggles or quiet company to pets that prefer a slower pace.

Availability
I keep a relatively small client base so I can serve each family to the very best of my ability. Many of my current clients are active duty military and healthcare workers, so it's important to me to be able to provide flexible and excellent service. My schedule right now revolves around caring for my family, home, and pets
