Pet care experience
I’ve volunteered at animal shelters since I was 14. I was a professional dog walker/pet sitter for 2 years. I worked at a humane society for 2 years, where I cared for cats, dogs and small animals. I have experience with positive reinforcement and have worked under a certified dog trainer

Rachel has come three times now to walk our dog and we are hoping she stays for a long time to come. Our Cane corse Myah is a rescue that came from an abusive home and is now very reactive. We are working with her on that and she is in special training. Rachel has been amazing meeting with our trainer and taking the time to get to know Myah and her needs. We love her and are happy for her to join our family of sorts as we will see her weekly!

I’ve been volunteering and working at shelters for a very long time so I have a lot of experience with all types of behavioral issues and temperaments with dogs and cats. I love dogs of all sizes, so size and breed does not bother me! Just let me know what they love to do on outings and what their walking skills are like
A typical day
I love working on skills with dogs! I use positive reinforcement training skills. I’ll take your dog for the kind of walk they want. If they want to sniff or run or anything else I can accommodate. For cats, if they like I will play with them and spend quality time together

I’m currently working Monday to Friday. I will be free for walking/pet sitting in the evenings and weekends! On weekends I can do any time
