Your dog has my Heart!
Pet care experience
I have 26 years experience from puppy training to senior care to euthanasia ceremonies. I love taking them Hiking, walks, on car rides, pet/house sitting, & playing fetch/tug of war. I love cats and all the creatures God has put on this earth as well! Happy to care for any other pets you have. I recently put my beloved 14 year old Boston, Flower down and have been living vicariously through loving your fur babes. I am back to work from maternity leave and my son loves animals! **Animals must be good with toddlers, please!** I'd love to love your pet as long as I am available. Let's chat and see if we are a good fit to work together. Blessings to you!
Reviews
We returned from a four day weekend to a happy and healthy dog. Rachel did a great job communicating and sent pictures/videos. We would definitely have our dog (12 year old Beisenji/Lab) stay with Rachel again.
Excellent dog person to hang out with my dog. My dog was with her and her baby all day, perfect for my dog! Very understand of dog behavior
Geni loved her stay with Rachel! Constant updates and picture of geni. Constantly checked in regarding what was best for Geni!
Rachel was great! She handled our high energy puppy with grace! She made everything easy and our puppy loves her! Rachel was very responsive and went out of her way to meet and greet us and thoroughly go over everything before we left. She sent us some sweet photos and updates during her stay. Will definitely look to book her again!

I care for pets in the clients home or my own. I am a full time mom & I can spend a lot of time with them, making sure they get lots of exercise, playtime and sunshine. As a Holistic chef, food & nutrition is so important to me so I love to keep them healthy, happy, fed and give them healthy treats! I am very respectful of my clients homes and make sure to keep everything tidy and better than the way I came in. I appreciate the staycations as much as you and your pets do! My own home is extremely clean and organized (thank you OCD! :D) even as a mom and I aim to keep it that way with doggy daycare pets. I expect them to be respectful of my things and be trained not to tear things up or use it as a restroom, please!
Information Rachel K. would like to know about your pet
Knowing of special needs, medications, specific behaviors, puppies or geriatric animals is important. Temperment toward other animals, etc. If they have any specific routines or times of day they eat - it is great to know what they are accustomed to and feel safe and loved by while you are gone. What is their walking style? Do they heel or pull? Are they good walkers or all over the place? Knowing where to take them on walks is very important...and also that they will not pull me or take off after another creature, as I will be walking with my baby attached to me in his carrier as well. **Most Important ** Are they good with toddlers?
A typical day
I love hiking and will typically take them for hikes as long as my clients and their animals are up for it. I also love taking them for long walks around the neighborhood/nearby trails. Playing fetch or tug of war is always fun...especially if there are multiple dogs involved! And of course lots of pets, belly rubs & all the snuggles!!!
