I have always loved dogs and had dogs! We just recently lost our beloved Frenchie to an aggressive brain tumor. Now our nest (while filled with our animal loving but gentle one year old) is doggy empty! We would love to spoil your little pooch for a day, a night, or a week - whatever you may need. I currently am a stay at home mom and would be able to give your dog ample amounts of attention and snuggles. I am familiar and comfortable with giving medication as needed. We will do whatever we can to make your pet feel at home with us! Please consider us when choosing a boarding option for your dog! Let us be your dog's home away from home!

Whenever I drop Bella off, she runs up the stairs to the front door with excitement! Bella can't get inside quick enough.....this just goes to show how much Bella loves going to Rachel's for pet care! On a serious note, Rachel has been so sweet to Bella and really does put Bella's care first. We receive pictures and updates during each stay. Rachel is methodical about adhering to Bella's pet schedule. It's been really nice to hear about what kind of fun our fur baby has during the day when we are away at work. So glad Rachel has this business to help all of us out in Old Trail.
We lucked into finding out about Rachel through our neighborhood listserv right before we were about to go out of town. This was great luck because it meant we could vacation without worrying about how our dog was doing. Rachel provides a very cozy home setting and obviously loves dogs very much. Our dog was treated well and we received updates from her that put our minds at ease. We will definitely use Rachel again and highly recommend her!
Excellent first-time experience for my pup at Rachel's. She genuinely loves dogs, understands their behavior, cares about their comfort and their needs.

One thing we must know is if your pet is kid friendly. Our son is 18 months and has always had a dog in the house until about a week ago. He is great with dogs! He is very sweet and gentle but does like to pet and give hugs.
A typical day
We live in Old Trail and love to go for walks around the neighborhood. We even have a little creek for your pup to splash in if he/she likes that. There is also a dog park really close that we could explore together.
