Pet care experience
Animals have always gravitated towards me and I towards them. I think I bring a grounding energy that is calming - I practice meditation and animals pick up on this. When I was a little girl, I loved dogs so much that I memorized the breeds, where they originated from and also their specific breed personalities. I’ve had dogs since I was a teenager and they have always been happy, healthy, and respectful. I’ll love and care for your pets as if they are my own. They will get lots of snuggles and praise!

Our experience with Rachel has been great! Immediately, our dog Tilly fell in love when she met her. Rachel is attentive to Tilly’s age and needs, shows up on time, and is super caring. We will continue to walk with Rachel for as long as she’ll have us!
Rachel stayed in our home for two weeks looking after our dogs Archie and Harry. From the moment she first met them she had them literally eating out of her hands as she brought treats and knew exactly where to rub their ears which they love. She did a wonderful job which made our trip that much more enjoyable. Our dogs will look forward to the next time.

I know that pets are usually happiest when they are in their own home with their own routine so I will make sure to be there for them in whatever way I can. I understand that entrusting your animals to me is a big deal and I’m serious about making sure your pets receive the utmost care and attention while you are away. The safety of your pet is of top priority and I’ll make sure to send you regular updates (photos and videos) so that you know your pet is well cared for while you are away from them. I’m also neat as a pin and whenever I stay in someone else’s home, I treat it with respect and care. Expect to come home to a clean, tidy house. I always try to leave places better than when I arrived.

I want to make sure you are completely happy and at ease with leaving your pet in my care because I understand that they are members of our family.
A typical day
I’d love to take your dogs for long walks in the park or trails. Discovering new, natural spaces is a passion of mine. If you live near a dog park, we can go there too, but I will always clear that with you first. I’m familiar with high energy breeds (and how much work it takes to tire them out!) and also senior dogs that might need to take their time and go slower. I’m never in any rush when I’m out walking. 1:1 time and the safety of your animal is the most important thing to me.
