Pet care experience
I’ve had a huge heart for animals since I was a young girl — raising multiple cats, small animals we found injured on our property, our family’s beagle basset hounds, and now mine and my partner’s little 7 year old rescue black kitty, Jaina. I’ve pet sat all throughout high school and college and continued for the last few years including overnight home stays, caring for elderly animals, administering pet’s medications, and walking dogs of many sizes. I can’t let an animal walk past me on the street without some pets and kisses. We are currently living right next to Ashland the Henry Clay Estate and love our neighborhood for walking. I would be so honored to walk your sweet pup in such a gorgeous area.

She is incredibly caring and loving toward our dog! I know that when Rachel is responsible for the care of our dog that she is in the best hands possible. Our dog adores Rachel and we do too! You can be put at ease knowing your dog is in such loving care!
Rachel is our go-to caretaker for our pets when we’re gone. She’s timely in stopping by, follows our specific instructions (since our cat is a bit high maintenance) and always sends photos of walks and snuggle time. Our fur babies love her and are always excited when she comes over. I can’t recommend her enough!
I think sometimes Rachel loves my pets more than I do. She sees every animal as a precious little soul and TRULY loves them like one of her own. Rest assured Rachel will go above and beyond for your pet, not only giving it the ultimate care it deserves, but if dogs/cats could smile their face would be sore when she drops them back off from all the love they received:)

Our neighborhood is historical, safe, dog friendly, and right by a park. We have trees, open fields, walking paths, and gardens nearby with plenty of critters to help keep your pets stimulated and engaged while on walks! Our home is pet friendly with all furniture secured into our walls, easily cleaned up hardwood floors (in case of mistakes!) and the kindest neighbors who all are animal friendly as well :) I prioritize the pet’s routine above all else when caring for them and don’t mind to re-arrange my life to fit their needs! It’s a joy for me to give them the care they deserve and the schedules they need!

Let me know if your dog has any specific training their working on ex: no jumping, sit, stay, wait, etc. i love helping stimulate a dog’s training with new people and really enjoy supporting your training with them! Also let me know if your pet needs any specific care like a unique type of feeding time / food, a specific special needs routine, or needs extra support for anxiety :)
A typical day
I live right next to Ashland The Henry Clay Estate and love walking and playing on the property! Seeing squirrels, birds, and other dogs is such a great way to make sure your pup gets stimulation while outside, and I’m all about supporting that! Whether we are snuggling on a blanket, playing fetch, or bird watching on our walk I’ll make sure your furry friend is well taken care of and loved!

I work full time from home as a wedding photographer in our 2nd story historical apartment. I have a flexible daily schedule with few blackout dates of unavailability per month during wedding season.
