Your pup will feel right at home!
Pet care experience
I am a Canadian here in California on an engineering internship. At home I have a goldendoodle, Charlotte (10 y/o), and an English bulldog, Fred (5 y/o), and I have grown up taking care of them from puppy to senior. As a pet owner could imagine, being away from my pups for 8 months has me missing them terribly. That inspired me to sign up for Rover to be able to provide amazing care and give some pups the love I would give to my own. I love to run, hike and I walk pretty much everywhere, so your dog will have no shortage of fun sites and scenes to keep them busy. I live with my boyfriend whose dream is to open an animal sanctuary and both of us want to make your dog feel right at home, even if that means jumping up into our bed to cuddle!
Reviews
Rachel is very good with dogs. She’s patient and compassionate and it’s easy to tell that she loves dog sitting. Sending pics of my dog really assured me that he was happy and well cared for.
Rachel was so good to our Enzo. We did not have a single worry while he was with her.
Very gentle and patient my with my girls!
Rachel and my dog warmed up to each other quickly upon meeting so I knew the boarding experience would be great. Rachel has experience with dogs so I knew I didn’t have explain much. She sent me a couple of pictures of Zoe, informed me of other dogs boarding with her, and kept Zoe active with her daily exercise. I’m so glad it was a positive experience both parties that I already booked Rachel again for a future date. Zoe is looking forward to spending time with her again. Thank you!

Information Rachel I. would like to know about your pet
- Past behavioural issues (have they ever injured someone) - health issues or medical needs - first time away from home? - seperation anxiety? - favourite activities
A typical day
Firstly, I understand pet seperation anxiety as my goldendoodle struggles with this so I have experience dealing with doggies who miss their parents. We can go for walks ranging in difficulty from a simple walk in the Suburbs to a lengthy hike up mission peak! We can go for a long car ride and so they can hang their head out the window for as long as they want. We can also just hangout in the house if that’s what your dog likes!
