Pet care experience
Hi, there! I'm Rachel, mom to a rescue dog and cat. I have lots of experience with pet sitting, feeding, and walking, some experience with grooming, and experience with all kinds of animals! I've worked at a "Doggy Bed and Bath" facility in Nashville, as well as other dog walking companies. When boarding your pup in my home, either for the day, night, or several nights, my cat (Tonks) has lived with dogs her whole life and, while she isn't a huge fan of them, she is comfortable in their presence. She has custom built carpeted shelves where she can have her own space up and out of the dog's range to allow for a peaceful home for everyone, in addition to enjoying spending time on top of the kitchen cabinetry to overlook her "kingdom". This is an incredibly pet-centric home. Our dog, Dobby, is a 50lb mixed breed rescued from Nashville Humane. He is a bundle of energy and cuddles! He loves running and playing with our friends dogs and gets along well with everyone he has met thus far. All furniture in our home is pup friendly, and our dog rarely spends time on the floor- he usually enjoys lounging on the bed or the reclining couch, surrounded by a pile of toys. (Side note: he has absolutely no food or toy agression- he enjoys sharing because he knows there is plenty to go around!) When sitting in your home, I always make sure to read in detail any instructions you may have left for me to take care of your fur babies and follow them to a "T". I can let them out as often as you'd like, every hour if needed (which is incredibly important for house training puppies!), follow any sort of complex feeding needs you may have, administer medication if needed, and give lots of cuddles and play time! I am available any time by phone or text if you all would like updates, I'd be happy to give them. During drop in visits or walks, let me know if you have any specific preferences in regards to walking paths nearby or any special needs or habits your pets may have- I am glad to accommodate whatever necessary to keep you and your pet happy and healthy. Any further questions I'll be glad to answer!
Reviews
I would have to say she is a very good person very kind. She did professional job this person will earn all of our business. Rachel is the person we will recommend.
Rachel was wonderful and my dog loved her. I was worried he would be afraid when she came to walk and feed him, instead they became insent friends. She kept me updated throughout the day and even sent pictures. By the end of my trip, I felt like I left my dog with an old friend and knew he was in good hands. I consider Rachal a friend now! Thank you from the bottom on my heart!

Rachael was awesome. She made me feel at ease, with leaving my cat. My cat is scared of alot of things. She was so good with him. He didn't want to leave. She also sent pictures and message everyday. How my cat was doing. Love her.

My care depends heavily on the animal and their needs, and what the owner requests. A potty training puppy needs to be let out far more frequently than an adult dog that can go 4-6 hours in between potty breaks. A young Dalmatian needs more exercise than a geriatric Lab. I take care of every animal with love and gentle firmness and according to the instructions provided by the owner.

Information Rachel I. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to accommodate any special needs that your pet may have- if you’ll provide detailed instructions on any special needs your fur baby has, I’ll follow all instructions provided and ask questions if anything is unclear.
A typical day
I like to go on walks, play with toys, cuddle, wrestle, and enjoy interacting with pups! With kitties I take care of food and water and litter boxes, and according to the cat’s personality, either give them their space or cuddle and play!
