~General availability: weekends, Thursday and Friday evenings.~ Life-long pet owner (dogs, cats, bunnies, birds) and animal lover! I spent my teen years pet-sitting regularly, and worked at a veterinary clinic where I tended to the boarders, administering oral/topical medications as needed. Over the years my family rescued and raised (albeit unexpectedly, haha!) bunnies and kittens from birth, taking shifts with round-the-clock feedings and general care. Last year I volunteered in South Africa at a true big cat sanctuary where I was expected to help prepare food, clean enclosures, and tend to the land for all the big cats. It further instilled in me a desire to share my life with animals however I can! As a pediatric speech pathologist, I'm empathetic to the needs of those who struggle to communicate, and that's a barrier humans face with animals as well. I believe an open heart is the best way to show love and compassion towards both humans and animals, and that's what I believe I bring to the table first and foremost. 💕
