May have more energy than your dog

Pet care experience

I love animals. Since I was young I've always been moved by their silent but unconditional love. It revealed to me exactly the same spirit of Love in my nature that I've forever wanted to share and has directed my life path. I'm a sensitive person, intuitive, and perceptive to the nuanced needs of people and animals. When small I nurtured injured wild birds back to life in shoeboxes, created projects like an extensive directory of animal shelters and adoption centers which I distributed to my classmates and strangers, and volunteered in shelters for fun. I've owned one dog, three birds, two guinea pigs, and three cats of my own, and grew up in a family of dog-lovers. As an adult only my two elderly cats are left. I've been employed at a cage-free dog boarding facility where I was responsible for 15-20 dogs at once entirely by myself. To me, animals are perfect god light, our very best friends, and caring for them brings me joy. I have loads of energy that I'm ready to devote to playing with and caring for your fur friend. I have an open and flexible schedule, and also offer quirky pet portraits as an additional creative service. I love your pooch already!

Information Rachel H. would like to know about your pet

It's a requirement for me that any dog staying in my home be friendly and (can't stress enough) NOT AGGRESSIVE towards cats. She's perfectly fine when not threatened, loves to play. This is a necessity because I would be shattered if anything happened to her.

A typical day

Tons of walks, hikes, playing (catch, frisbee, tug of war), maybe learn some new tricks? :) They'll be tuckered out, and then cuddles can happen.
