Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my whole life and I love them to death! I can take care of any dog, big or small, young or old, active or lazy! I can be flexible with pick up or drop off. I am currently working from home full time so have plenty of time to hang with the pups. On weekends we try to go for some fun adventures, hiking, swimming or whatever your dog likes! I grew up with dogs in my house so really have been doing this my whole life, myself and my husband have been dog sitting for almost 7 years now and love it! I also have training with different harnesses and dog safety so you'll know your dog is in good hands. There are several parks and green spaces within a block or two which I go to very often. I am very flexible, so please feel free to reach out and we can likely work something out to make sure your pets are taken care of!

We have a typical Somerville yard- a small patch that runs along the side and is mostly enclosed but really we prefer to walk down to nearby Foss Park. During the day dogs lay next to me while I work and have full reign of the apartment, but I do have some baby gates if they need to be contained.

I usually ask for the dogs schedule, what time do you walk and feed them. I try to stick to their normal schedule as much as possible so they are comfortable and happy! Need to know if they are destructive, if they can be left alone, any allergies and any triggers (squirrels, jumps on people, etc).
A typical day
Love to go for walks in the parks in the city. Also really try to get to some reservations and parks on the weekend to get some real nature and could go on long walks or hikes depending on the dogs ability. Love playing sports like frisbee or fetch or I also live right next to a dog park if the pups want to go make friends.

Availability
I am working from home full time so am home almost all day, but do still have to leave for occasional trips to grocery store, etc so prefer dogs who are OK alone. Our neighbors are close and walls are thin so I do my best to not disturb them!
