Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. Whether it was my own dog or a friends. I am comfortable working with dogs of all ages. I have developed more knowledge learning from my experiences watching other dogs as well as spending time back home with my family's dog. The current dog my family has now was a rescue. I was able to help her adjust into her new home despite the anxiety she has. I will take this into consideration when meeting your dog and bringing them into an unfamiliar territory.

Rachel is fantastic and loved our dog like he was her own! We had to book her last minute after a late change in plans, and she had our dog for a 7-night overnight stay. She was flexible in our pickup / drop off timing, providing frequent photo updates, and was professional in the questions she asked and the care she provided. We’re so grateful to have her now!
This is my second time booking Rachel and she is great! Excellent communication and does a great job with the dogs.
This was my first time using rover and was very hesitant. Was so happy Rachel made me feel comfortable right away and was so good with the dogs. She was kind and took the initiative to communicate and send updates while we were gone. So happy with my first experience and she is highly recommended!!

At my home I am able to provide your pet with daily exercise. My home has a a fenced in yard to run around in! I will always go outside with your dog to ensure the yard is safe and they are comfortable. My street is also dog friendly so lots of walks can be incorporated. I allow pets on furniture so your dog will always have a comfy spot to rest! No pets in my home currently so bring your dogs favorite toys with!

A typical day
I love to keep dogs active and happy. I have a fenced in yard where I can play with your dog as well as a safe street to take your dogs on walks. I also love walking the path along the water if you are comfortable with your dog doing so. Rest is very important in my dogs life so I will give the dogs a comfortable place to rest.

Availability
I am currently a student at Carthage College getting my masters! I will also be coaching the Carthage Women's Lacrosse team. My classes and practices are all in the evenings so my schedule is open every morning. Tuesday and Thursdays I will have more available as well.
