Pet care experience
Helping care for pets, dogs and cats alike, is something I have done since I was young. I've volunteered at the Humane Society and I was the local neighborhood dog walker. I currently work at a veterinary hospital and am working towards becoming a veterinarian. I've cared for numerous different breeds, ranging from two derpy blue tick coonhounds to the cutest little dachshund puppy. I have experience with and welcome all ages and all stages of health.
Reviews
Tons of communication, on time, and took care of our littles ones as we would. Looking forward the next visit. Thank you Rachel!
Great photos and excellent updates. My cat loved her. Will definitely book again.
Rachel was AMAZING we asked for her last minute and she was able to accommodate. We was very communicative and prompt. We received pictures and updates regularly. We will definitely be using her again!

Staying at a client's house to care for their baby is something I've done multiple times and feel comfortable doing. I do my best to keep everything tidy and secure, such as cleaning up after myself and making sure doors are locked. I also have a trained, socialized dog if I were to have a client who felt more comfortable with their baby having a friend to hang out with. She is a 12lb Chiweenie who is my ESA and is wonderful at providing comfort.
Information Rachel H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any special needs, such as allergies, stressors and fears, behavioral or training struggles, and/or medical history. This will help me be the best provider I can be for your baby!
A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation is very important for your furry friends to have and I try my best to give them that, whether that is by playing games at the park or trying out one of my favorite hiking trails with me.

As of November 2023, I have taken a break from working at a vet hospital after 4+ years. I used to work at a general practice and I plan to work at an emergency vet once I start applying again. Until then, my schedule is very open! I am happy to work around my schedule for your furry friend's benefits.
