Experienced CPDT Boarding your Pup
Pet care experience
Although I’ve been a CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer) for 15 years, I’ve had all sorts of animals in my life for as long as I can remember. Ranging from puppies to seniors and from dogs to sugar gliders. Our house was known as “the zoo” and people brought us all the stray and sick animals. Having been a CNA for 15 years gives me a wealth of experience and knowledge when dealing with special needs dogs. Over the years I have volunteered my services at several different Humane Societies and for a short time I had my own non profit dog outreach program with some great friends. Up to date we have Fostered 27 dogs, including a mom and her litter of 6! I helped run the behavioral team in the last rescue group I was with but am looking forward to my new adventures. My dog training specialty lye with in-home behavior modification. My main job was being home with my 6 year, who now is in school so I will be home most of the time to take care of your fur babies.
Reviews
Rachel was wonderful and took great care of our puppy! She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Answered any question or concerns we had. We got updates on how our puppy was doing throughout the day which helped put our minds at ease.
She is awesome! Super kind and flexible and very knowledgeable! 🐶
Rachel was amazing, Achilles had never been boarded anywhere ever in his 14 years of life. On the contrary he’s so spoiled we were afraid our mom would never be able to leave the house without him. Rachel was so patient along every step and incredibly communicative. I really appreciate her service, thank you Rachel. I would recommend her a million times over!
She was absolutely amazing! I have used Rover several different times and always been happy, but she was by far the best! Super professional, knowledgeable and personable! I would HIGHLY recommend her!

Each dog/household will have its own suite. I have two 6’ x 4 ‘ x 5’H pen and one 4x4x5’ pen. Max number of dogs I care for is 6 (3 households each having 2 dogs in a suite). But typically I only have 2-3 at a time. We have multiple gate dividers in the household to ensure each dog is kept safe. Although, dogs can have interaction through gates, if appropriate, introduction of my family dogs or different household dogs will be done slowly and at my discretion. This is for everyone’s safety and protection. You dog must be kennel trained or pen/gate trained. We have almost a acre lot and are currently working on the finishing our 5’H fence.

Information Rachel H. would like to know about your pet
We will discuss your feeding and potty schedules, diet, medication and medical needs. Tell me what sassy habits your puppers has ahead of time so we can be better prepared - examples: fast and escape artist/ scare and will bolt/ chews everything/ not yet potty trained or is pee pad trained. Let me know specifically what basic thing or two you would like me to work on-example: sit,down,stay/ bolting at the door/ leash training/ is pen trained but would like to be kenneled trained. Please! LMK let me know at the meet and greet if your dog has any anxiety issues. I am well equipped to handle these dogs/situations but it is much easier to manage if I know ahead of time instead of having to figure it out as it’s happening. Lastly, what are all the wonderful things about your dog!?
A typical day
As a part of your core care, dogs will be given basic obedience and manners training with every contact I have with them. Also, included is individual play time and group play (if possible) several times a day. We use lots of different enrichment toys and techniques, including Kong feedings, frozen ice cube treats, hide and seek or box games. The list goes on and we get creative and tailor every dogs needs to their specific profile. Longer individual in depth training sessions or neighborhood walks can be discussed and will have an additional fees.
