Pet care experience
I've had and cared for many various breeds and sizes over the past 12 or so years and even have some experience working with puppies; plus a softspot for elderly pets. I'm also suited for longer or more athletic walks, even runs, if needed.

My first time leaving Moody overnight in someone’s care since rescuing him went so well. I’m so grateful for Rachel’s service! She and Moody became pals instantly and the daily photos showed it.. smiles all around. Great communication via text and calls, respectful of my home, and understanding of my and Moody’s needs (esp. with some last minute changes in my travel plans). Overall, lovely experience. I have a cat at home who prefers to stay hidden away in the bedroom when dogs are over so I can keep pets in my ~950 sq ft apartment for short periods of time. I do not have a fenced yard however, though I live in a very walkable neighborhood and am a 10min walk to the Duke Park dog park.

I feel uniquely connected to animals and have loads of time and energy to be attentive and meet your pet’s needs. I’m happy to take long walks, run and play with your dog or even just sit and cuddle with a book.

I work from home doing contract software development so I have lots of time in my schedule. I especially love short or long walks any time during the day, but am also happy to do drop-ins or overnight stays.
