Pet care experience
I have had over 40 years of experience of looking after dogs of all ages and many different breeds. We live on a small holding next to a large council playing field with lots of off road walking. I have looked after many friends dogs and horses over the years and they all love to come back. Although it states in the app that 30% of people have received photos during their stay, 100% of people have received photos, most people prefer photos sent on WhatsApp whilst they’re away and not through the app so it doesn’t register that they’ve been sent photos, I update the owners regularly throughout their dogs stay with us.

I have a fully fenced garden, a small paddock and small horse riding arena that can be used for exercise and also a large playing field next door. We have a 4 bed detached house with tiled flooring throughout for muddy paws. We have a small dog of our own that’s friendly with all other dogs and loves the company. Dogs will be walked and looked after as the owners wish and kept in the routine they’re used to at home.

A typical day
I love to walk and have many regular walks around my area. I also have a dog safe car to go further afield for longer walks or appointments if needed whilst you’re away. For those who love to play we have plenty of toys and a safe area to play. For those who are elderly or prefer a slower pace we have comfy dog beds and dogs are allowed on the sofa if the owners allow this at home.
