Home fulltime, crazy Love for pets

Pet care experience

I love animals! I believe consistency is key, I want to be able to give your baby the same love and attention you would. If your pup need training support I can provide, I’ll follow any rules you have set for your baby as well. Your pup will have my full attention, I enjoy playing, cuddling, training, and focusing on their entertainment and care. If they struggle with any allergies or anxiety, I can work well with them to ensure their comfort and safety. I’ve lived around and raised dogs my whole life and love them so much! Puppy’s love playtime and lots of attention, positive reinforcement and focus is something I can provide for young puppies and adult dogs as well. If you have any questions or any tips on what would make your baby happy I love knowing those things so that I can provide the best support for them. If you have any questions for me as well, I’d love to hear them and know what would make you as comfortable and as supported as your pup. :) On a second note, I love cats as well and can check up on them and feed and such. I am actually familiar with most pets so if you have other animals in need of being checked on or fed and watered, I can do that too. I’m not afraid of anything! And if I’m unfamiliar, I can learn fast :D

Maybe we're just helicopter parents, but while she kept him safe, we feel that she did not give him the attention that a puppy his age needs. She was sitting our 6 month old puppy at our place for 9 days and it was our first time using Rover and Amo's first time being left alone that long. She got him a new puzzle feeder when she was having trouble with his and got him a new poop bag holder when his broke. However, he was evidently having separation anxiety problems and destroying things in the apartment and she didn't tell us until after the stay had ended even though we asked several times. She didn't even mention any of his behavior until he went on a particularly destructive bender which was because she left him for 7 hours even though she was explicitly told not to leave him for more than 4-5 hours. If you have a dog that doesn't require much attention, she is a suitable and caring sitter. But for our young puppy, she was not particularly communicative nor attentive.

Our pup Kylo was a happy boy after spending the holidays with Rachel. She always responded quickly to messages and left the house the same way we left it. Thanks, Rachel!!

Rachel has watched our ole’ baby Sasha (she’s a lab mix with bad hips) multiple times. We’ve had her house sit while we were gone for longer periods because Sasha likes to have someone to sleep with and can get anxious when we are gone for more than a weekend. She’s great with Sasha, absolutely loves animals- and all kinds. She has had several different kind of pets herself from turtles and lizards to birds and cats and dogs. She is very trustworthy and I never worried about the safety or security of Sasha or my home while she was there.

Information Rachel G. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know any allergies, anxiety triggers your dog may have, any sensitive spots to pet or not to pet. Favorite toys and games to play, likes and dislikes in general. Favorite types of treats to use for rewarding, and foods to use/ avoid. I don’t have any breed preferences, I love all of them, big and small. If they’re pullers when going on walks, I’ll need to know that so I can be prepared. Anything else you think would help me ensure your pups happiness and safety would be great!

A typical day

I like to go on nature trails and to dog parks if that’s something you’d be comfortable with for me to take your pup. I love to play fetch and train dogs new tricks if they seem like they want to learn and play. Belly rubs and grooming/brushing are my favorites!
