Pet care experience
I have extensive animal experience caring for dogs, cats, various reptiles, birds, amphibians, small mammals, and aquariums. I grew up with many pets (fish, cockatiel, two Akitas, a Himalayan, two ferrets, Guinea pigs, a garter snake, a pac man frog, etc.) My specialty is in aquatics, but I have a deep love and appreciation for dogs. I worked at Petco for two years as an aquatic specialist and got to interact and help many customers with various breeds of dogs as well. My promise and mission is to care for and walk your pet as if they were my own. If you have any special requests, just let me know! I hope to hear from you and look forward to meeting your furry friend soon.

Rachel was AMAZING. We will definitely be asking her to watch Jethro wherever we have to head out of town. From booking through to pickup she was responsive and constantly sharing nice updates. Jethro got lots of activity and attention and was very well taken care of. So all that he didn’t want to come home! She really knows how to take care of the pups and is lovely all around. I live next to a church with plenty of open space for leashed walking. Our neighborhood has newly installed sidewalks with access to cross walks if needed and nearby trails to explore.

Let me know if your dog is afraid of any wildlife. We have lots of squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, birds, and occasionally foxes and deer in our yard. Let me know if they can handle the energy of small children.
A typical day
We have parks nearby that we can walk to or drive to, and I'm near a pet store in case more toys are needed :)

Availability
I work as an administrator for a preschool during the morning hours from roughly 9am - 1pm. I live with my husband (who works from home most days) and two girls (one 5YO and one 3YO) so my weekdays are very busy. Weekends are my best availability when watching pets. If you're looking for boarding during the weekdays, feel free to message me and I'll do my best to accommodate if I can. During the weekday, afternoon/ evening drop offs work best for our schedule. I will be sure to give your furbaby plenty of walks, snuggles, and kisses during their stay. On weekends, I can take them to the dog park, snuggle on the sofa or walk around the neighborhood. Where we live, they constructed new sidewalks so there are plenty of places to explore with your fur baby. They will be cuddled, loved, and cared for.
