Pet care experience
Hello there ! Animals are my number one passion. They always have been! I have about 10 years of experience in caring for other people's animals but I have spent my entire life caring for my own(29 years) ..From guinea pigs, mice/rats , bunnies, birds, cats , dogs (of all size), horses... You name it ! I am aware that like humans, every animal has a different personality. So I pay close attention to every animal and their own special needs. Each gets treated as an individual, even on group walks. I have experience in handeling and instilling basic commands with large and small dogs, as one of my own is small and the other is large. 🐶🐺 I rescue / foster animals so I have dealt with animals with temperament issues. However it's not ideal, I usually can asses the situation properly. Please inform me of any temperament issues, that way before I start caring for your pet we can have a meet and greet and do a temperament test. As I said before each animal has their own personality and sometimes they just don't warm up to certain people. Although I don't think I have ever had an animal that didn't end up liking me😉 but I am aware it can happen...If you have any questions, feel free to ask me✨💕

I found Rachel last minute after a previously arranged sitter had to cancel and I couldn't have been happier! Rachel sent pictures daily and made sure Roman had an enjoyable stay. Thanks for allowing Roman to spend Christmas with you and your dog family.
This was my pups first time alone overnight and he had the best time ever! He got along great with her pups and she was so wonderful. My dog has a lot of anxiety and she was very understanding and helpful. Also kept me updated with pictures and videos. Made my anxiety about leaving him with someone when needed completely disappear! Couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter.
Rachel was amazing and accommodated my last-minute request to board my one-year-old Golden Retriever with her for 6 days over July 4. She's a huge animal lover and is incredibly in tune with each animal's unique needs. We immediately felt at ease during our meet and greet at a local dog park seeing how quickly our dog took to her and interacted with her two pups. She made sure our pup got plenty of exercise and was well taken care of, sending pics and communicating with us throughout our stay, and stayed in the night of the 4th to make sure the dogs had a calming presence and weren't freaked out by the fireworks. We've already rebooked with her for another long weekend and are thrilled we have someone responsible and who puts the dogs' needs first.

Before caring for your animal there are a few things I always like to be aware of. -Do they have any allergies to anything ie: Food? (As I give treats for good behavior!) -Any medical conditions that I need to aware of? -Do they have any temperament issues either with strange people or other dogs? As with boarding at my house I have two dogs of my own. -Do they have any naughty boy/girl tendencies? - ie: Chewing things/ furnitures , dogging holes in the yard , Ect... I have had some real nightmare situations Where a bunch of my things have been ruined , so please please please warn me if your animal has any bad habits!
A typical day
While watching your dog(depending on their personality) we might go for a nice hike. Maybe visit the beach or nice dog park. Possibly even meet my fur babies, and have a fun play session. If your dog is more of a solo type we can just hang out, play with toys. Maybe go for a nice evening run. I love taking photos of the animals so you can for sure except photos and videos with me !
