Hi I am Rachel and my husband Dave and I are the founders of Pampered Pets! We have 10+ years in the animal caretaker field and 4+ years of clinical experience! We have experience caring for several types of different animals including cats, newborn kittens and puppies, dogs, ferrets, horses, goats, pigs, donkeys, chickens, lizards, and fish. We are familiar with several animal illnesses and can monitor sick pets as well. We can also administer medications (pill, liquid and injectable form) and fluids. We strive to treat your pets like family! I worked with Rachel at an animal shelter and she is one of the hardest workers. Her love and compassion for animals is obvious in the care in which she provides for them. She would do anything to help an animal. She is a very friendly person who always has a smile on her face!
Rachel cares for cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and ferrets. She truly loves animals and takes excellent care of them. I have seen her many times bottle feeding a kitten at 3am.

Rachel is like Mother Nature to all animals. She wakes up during the night to feed them and keeps them alive. Then she fights to find everyone of them homes! She posted a Chihuahua stray who she said was very sweet and I pledged for him. She made sure that he came to me because she knew he would have a great home! Rachel is one of a kind and lives her life through God. She is a sweet person and can feel when an animal needs some extra attention. She has a heart of gold and is a decent, honest person.

A typical day
Unlike many other sitters, we don't like just sitting around doing nothing and getting paid. We like to do fun activities with whoever/whatever we're watching. Enrichment is a very important task when trying to reduce stress in animals. Daily walks, treats, playtime, etc. are extremely important when an animal is in our care. It not only wears the animal out physically/mentally but also helps us to figure out new methods of enrichment by leaning how each animal works.
