My husband and I both grew up with family pets and have a love for all animals. We are dog pawrents of an energetic three-year-old German Shephard mix named Nova. Over the past 7 years we've had numerous dogs of all breeds, size and age in our care. From house sitting in New Zealand to fostering rescue pups, to dog sitting for friends and family, we look forward to welcoming your dog into our home where they'll be spoiled with affection. We understand that no two dogs are alike and that they each have their own unique personality. Therefore, we intend to adapt to your pet's lifestyle and accommodate for each of their needs to create a seamless transition into our home. Consistency is important to us and we want to follow your routine to the best of our ability, ensuring that your pup is happy, comfortable, and treated as if they were our own. When you leave your fur baby with us, you can rest assured knowing that they are in good hands and will receive the best of care while you're away.

Rachel and Eric were amazing! They sent me regular updates of Scooby, with lots of fantastic photos. I was never worried about how he was doing and he came back happy and tired out from all the fun walks and playtime he had. I will definitely use them again and couldn’t recommend them enough!
Rachel & Eric took great care of Benny while we were away! They sent lots of photos, were always very communicative, and made sure Benny had fun filled days with lots of different activities. They made it easy to relax on vacation knowing our dog was in good hands, we would highly recommend their services!
My pup had another wonderful stay with Rachel, Eric and their dog Nova. It brings me great peace of mind to have him stay with them as I can see he had a good stay by his behaviour when I pick him up. And of course I love the daily updates and pictures!
Rachel and Eric were exceptional caring sitters! Always sending me updates and pictures of Harley, taking her for walks and followed instructions in every way. I’ll most definitely book again with them! Highly recommend! PS: They even gave me a Polaroid of Harley with homemade treats made by them! How sweet is that?!

We live in a home with a completely fenced backyard, a doghouse that we built, and have our own pup to keep yours company. We also have a pet cam that we set up if we need to step away. Your dogs safety is our property, we will never leave them unattended while outdoors. The interior of our home is tidy and puppy proof ensuring your companion won't get into anything they shouldn't.

Please inform us of any allergies, food intolerances, special needs or health issues that your pup has. Also, it would be helpful to have written feeding instructions with regular feeding times and your pups leash, collar and booties (if needed). We would love to know of any tricks or commands that they respond to and any behaviors or quirks that are unique to them. **We want your pups to have our full attention. We can host two doggo's per night but only if they are from the same household.**
A typical day
Your fur baby will be kept mentally and physically stimulated throughout the day. Our pup Nova loves to play and will surely tire them out. When they aren't keeping each other occupied, I have lots of time to play with them, offer treats for tricks, and take them for leashed walks around our neighborhood. We live near some really beautiful dog parks such as Rotary Park, Tom Campbell and Winston Heights. If permitted, and your pup has good recall, we can take them to an off leash park. You can often find the 3 of us exploring or hiking in the mountains or provincial parks, if your pup enjoys these activities, we would be happy to take them along on our next adventure.

Availability
I have ample time to play, walk, and take care of your fur baby! Our pup will surely keep yours entertained and keep them company. I step out 3-4 times a week for 20 minutes as I've been helping someone in our community by letting their senior dog out for potty breaks while they're at work. If your dog is staying the night, my husband will be home in the evenings and would gladly take them to the local park, on a leashed walk or offer some couch cuddles.
